Since 1903, the Baptist Children's Home in Oklahoma City has provided hope and homes for children affected by abuse, abandonment, neglect, or poverty. The Home ministers to the whole child in a family-style Christian setting with eight children and a married couple serving as house parents.

The Baptist Children's Home in Oklahoma City began as an orphanage in 1903. The Home was located at N.W. 63rd and Pennsylvania from 1907 until 1983, when it moved to 16301 South Western. It is now one of four residential campuses operated by Oklahoma Baptist Homes for Children, which is now the largest provider of private, non-profit residential child care in the state. Since 1903, more than 10,000 children have lived in the care of Oklahoma Baptists Homes for Children.

The ministry of the Baptist Children's Home is a grace gift; OBHC does not charge for its services. And because OBHC does not accept government funds, we have the freedom to share the good news of Hope with children every day.
