Race Day Registration and Packet Pick-up Location
Waterford Complex building 6301 Saturday: 6 a.m. to
7:00 a.m. for cycling. Sunday: 10:30 a.m. to 1:30
p.m. (no chips will be assigned past 1:00 p.m. to
allow for computer entry and accurate finish results)
Results
Individual results will be mailed to each registrant. Complete results will be posted when available at the following locations: www.redbud.org and Nichols Hills Town Hall. Please limit phone calls to the Redbud Office only.
ChampionChip
The Redbud Classic will once again use the ChampionChip
for our 2008 event. Chips are one-time use chips and
can be kept as souvenirs of your participation in
the 2008 Redbud Classic.
Certification and Sanctioning
The Redbud Classic 5k and 10k are USAT&F sanctioned, certified. Runners are eligible for state and national records and rankings. The walk is not a sanctioned event.
Regulations
All participants must wear a number. Running on the grass will result in disqualification. Participants must comply with Nichols Hills City Ordinances. All participants must pay an entry fee. All cyclists must wear helmet. All participants must follow official pace car.

at the Waterford Marriott Hotel, located at the start
line. Please call 405-848-4782 for reservations and
special $99 Redbud rate.
Saturday Parking
Waterford Complex enter from Pennsylvania before 7 a.m. No traffic will be allowed to enter Waterford after 7 a.m. Parking is also available at Penn Square Mall, Pennsylvania and Northwest Expressway, in the northwest corner of the lot near U.M.B. Bank. Penn Square Mall assumes no responsibility for cars parked there. No parking on Grand Blvd. Violators will be ticketed. All riders are encouraged to park at the Waterford. Parking for the Children's Run available at Nichols Hills Plaza.
Sunday Parking
Waterford Complex race day. Please enter the Waterford parking areas from 63rd Street before 1 p.m. No traffic will be allowed to enter the Waterford after 1 p.m. except for Waterford owners and tenants. Additional parking at Penn Square Mall, Pennsylvania and Northwest Expressway, or the Glenbrook Center, N.W. 63rd Street & Grand Blvd. Penn Square and Glenbrook Center assume no responsibility for cars parked in those lots. No parking permitted on race course or any city streets. Cars on the course will be towed. Parking available for wheelchair participants in the BancFirst lot.
Sunday Bus Service
Available from Nichols Hills Plaza before and after the race from noon to 1:30 p.m. and 2 to 4 p.m. Buses run from Nichols Hills Plaza to Waterford. Bus stop in Nichols Hills Plaza located at the Shell Station on the corner of Avondale and Western. No bus service to Penn Square.
Massage Therapists
Available Saturday from 7 a.m. - noon at the Waterford Complex and Sunday from 2 p.m. - 4 p.m. at Nichols Hills Plaza. Donated by Praxis College.

Awards Ceremony
Time: Approximately 3:30 p.m. Location: Nichols Hills
Plaza band stage with live entertainment and concessions.
Awards will not be distributed at the ceremony. Final
results will be confirmed by April 11th. Awards will
be mailed. Bike award ceremony held at the Waterford
Complex at 10:00 a.m. Saturday morning.
Split Times
Called out at every mile and kilometer. Markings will also appear on the pavement.
Water Stations
Throughout course and at start and finish areas. Remember, heat kills, and water saves! Past Redbud Classics have proven it can be hot and humid. Please drink plenty of water before, during and after the race.
Medical Station
Location: Nichols Hills Fire Department, east of the finish line area in Nichols Hills Plaza and throughout bike event courses on Saturday, supervised by St. Anthony Hospital, O.S.S.O. and the Nichols Hills Fire Department. |
