Team Challenge



The 30th Anniversary sponsors of the Redbud Classic, St. Anthony, MidFirst Bank and Chesapeake challenge you to participate in the Redbud Team Challenge. Whether your team is large or small, the Team Challenge gives your organization the opportunity to be a visible part of an event with thousands of participants. But, perhaps most importantly, it allows your organization the opportunity to lace up those tennis shoes and have fun together! Remember, the Redbud Team Challenge is for organizations of all kinds-businesses, churches, civic groups, neighborhoods organization, school teams & clubs, and more. Are you up for the challenge?


ONLINE REGISTRATION:

 

  • Team Contact/Organizers email redbudregistration@hotmail.com to set up a quick online account. Please include your team name in the email. 
  • After online account is set up, individual team members can register online with our online form. 
  • Teams with more than 15 members will be assigned a corporate code and will enter team name and code at time of registration. 
  • Teams with more than 15 members will pay at packet pick up (no fees collected at time of registration). 
  • Teams with less than 15 members will not receive a corporate code and will pay fees at time of online registration. Team name still must be entered on online form.
  • Team Contacts will receive a copy of the team roster to insure every team member is registered.

    ADULT COMPETITIVE DIVISION
    10k and 5k run
    2 categories of competition:
  • Open - includes teams participating as business, church, civic, neighborhood, family or other miscellaneous groups.
  • Collegiate - includes all college level team participation. 

First, second, and third place trophies will be awarded in each competitive race. Winners will be determined under WAVA guidelines (age & gender handicap grading).


YOUTH COMPETITIVE DIVISION

5k Run Only
2 categories of competition:

  • High school open - includes teams, comprised of students grades 9-12, participating as school sponsored teams, clubs, church groups, troops or other miscellaneous organizations.
  • Middle school open - includes teams, comprised of students grades 6-8, participating as school sponsored teams, clubs, church groups, troops or other miscellaneous organizations. A trophy wil be awarded to the team with the largest number of participants. 


NON COMPETITIVE DIVISION - ADULT & YOUTH
2 mile walk
A trophy will be awarded to the team with the largest number of participants.


TEAM CHALLENGE REGULATIONS
All team members must individually complete official entry/release form either by downloading the form or registering online.

  • Each team member must pay official individual participant entry fee: 
    • $25 per participant. 
  • All teams MUST have assigned Team Contact listed on registration form.
  • Minimum team size of 3 participants. No maximum limit.
  • Participants are still eligible for individual awards.
